Welcome on my website, I hope you will have a good time to look at my pictures and don't hesitate to contact me.

I was born in 1944, in the French port of Saint-Malo. I have since always lived in or near a port-town. When I was 7, my family moved to Le Havre in Normandy. There, I spent most of my childhood admiring the ocean liners et and observing the bustling activity of the harbor. I moved to Brest in 1957. There, I discovered the ships of the French Navy and in particular the splendid aircraft carriers. Back in Le Havre in 1961, I joined the local Art School and obtain an diploma in Graphic Art and Advertising.

During a visit to the Monaco Classic Week exhibition in 1996, I fell in love with the marvelous and legendary sailing yachts and I began working on the subject. I then had the honor of exhibiting my drawings at the Monaco Classic Week exhibition in 1997, wich was the year of the Grimaldi's 700th anniversary. I also exhibited in the Monaco Classic Week, Trophee Prada. Although I am not myself a sailor, I find the greatest pleasure in strolling around the ports, taking photos and making sketches, finding inspiration in objects or details.Through my drawings, I hope you will appreciate as I do, the beauty in the world of sailing.
